Kaskadna raba recikliranega lesa / Cascading Recovered Wood

(SI) Na vseh ravneh potrebujemo aktivnosti za povečanje učinkovitosti in uporabe obnovljivih virov. Želeno je, da se podaljša življenjski cikel materialov z njihovo ponovno uporab, s čimer močno zmanjšamo količino deponiranih odpadkov. V projektu bomo iskali rešitve oziroma podprli ukrepe, ki bodo omogočili, da se bodo lesni odpadki obravnavali kot dragocena vhodna surovina novih proizvodov: prihodnja razpoložljivost in kakovost predelanega odsluženega lesa; učinkovita in okolju prijazna logistika zbiranja in prevoza odsluženega lesa; tehnološko ravnanje razredov predelave odsluženega lesa (razpad, karakterizacija, razvrščanje); tehnologije nadgrajevanja in kakovosti proizvodov; družbena sprejemljivost izdelkov izdelanih iz odpadkov in gospodarska in okoljska izvedljivosti procesov. S tem bomo opredelili pogoje za razvoj poslovnega modela za kaskadno izrabo odsluženega lesa iz pohištva in gradbenega sektorja. Posledično bomo pomembno prispevali k spodbujanju inovacij v gozdno-lesnem sektorju.
(EN) We need action at all levels to increase efficiency and the use of renewables. It is desirable to extend the life cycle of materials by reusing them, thereby significantly reducing the amount of waste landfilled. The project will seek solutions or support actions to enable wood waste to be considered as a valuable input for new products: future availability and quality of recovered waste wood; efficient and environmentally friendly logistics for the collection and transport of waste wood; technological management of waste wood recovery grades (decomposition, characterisation, sorting); upgrading and product quality technologies; social acceptability of products made from waste; and economic and environmental feasibility of the processes. This will define the conditions for the development of a business model for the cascade recovery of end-of-life wood from the furniture and construction sectors. As a result, we will make an important contribution to stimulating innovation in the forestry and wood sectors.
